MARVEL just announced STRANGE TALES VOL. 2 at San Diego Comic Con. I’m really excited with this news because I can’t wait to show this cover anymore!

Marvel invited me to create the main story of the second volume of this amazing project in Nov 2009. Jody Leheup, Strange Tales editor, said that I could choose any Marvel character to make the story. I thought a lot and I choose Wolverine. But, wait, don’t judge my decision before read the story. I promise for all the fans that my vision of Wolverine is totally different! My story is about the Wolverine that I would like to read. Wolverine was my favorite super hero when a was a kid, so it was my chance to put my hands on him and make something different. I also wrote the script and it was really important to me, because I really want to show my writer skills a little more before release my new series with Dark Horse Comics, FURRY WATER and The Sons of The Insurrection.

Some of you must be thinking: And what about Furry Water? When it will be released? Yeah, We’ve been announced the series for 2010 but some chaotic facts in my life on the last 14 months made me work very slow and the project is late. But the chaos just gone and I’ll post great news about the project really soon. You guys don’t need to wait too much anymore. The project got a bigger proportion during this time and now we have something that will mesmerize the readers! I would like to show some FW pages, but it’s not the time yet. A MARVEL COMICS anunciou nesta quinta dia 22 de Julho na San Diego Comic Con, o segundo volume da antologia STRANGE TALES. Fiquei bem empolgado com a divulgação pois não aguentava mais esperar para mostrar essa capa!

A Marvel me convidou para fazer a história principal e a capa da STRANGE TALES, o que é uma honra, não existia como negar. O Jody LeHeup , editor do projeto, me disse que eu poderia escolher qualquer personagem da Marvel. Escolhi o Wolverine. Ok, não julgue a escolha sem antes ler a minha história, Ok? Eu prometo para todos os fãs do baixinho peludo que minha visão do personagem é totalmente diferente. Diferente do que vem sendo feito, diferente do que já fizeram. É o Wolverine que eu gostaria de ler. Ele era meu personagem favorito na infância, então essa foi uma ótima oportunidade de colocar minhas mãos no personagem e fazer algo diferente. Além de desenhar a história, escrevi o roteiro, o que foi muito importante pra mim, pois quero cada vez mais mostrar meus “skills” como roteirista antes de lançar minha série com a Dark Horse Comics, FURRY WATER and The Sons of The Insurrection.

Alguns de vocês devem estar se perguntando: Qualé da FURRY WATER? Quando essa série vai ser lançada? Pois é, anunciamos a série para 2010 mas alguns fatos caóticos que aconteceram na minha vida nos últimos 14 meses me fizeram trabalhar muito lentamente e acabei atrasando o projeto. Mas o caos já se foi e vocês não terão que esperar mais por tanto tempo. Muito em breve postarei várias novidades sobre FURRY WATER! Durante esse tempo, o projeto acabou ganhando proporções muito maiores e agora temos uma história que vai fazer os leitores ficarem de boca aberta! Eu adoraria postar algumas páginas só pra dar o gostinho mas ainda não é a hora. Obrigado a Dark Horse Comics e a Sierra Hahn pela parceria.
