This is the first character design that I did for JACKIE NOBUNAGA, one of the main characters of my new project – FURRY WATER. I did it in JAN 2008, some months after invite Daniel Pellizzari to co-write the story with me. I’ve been working on this project for a long time – since NOV 2006 – and it was the start of the whole concept design that I’m creating for this story. I can’t show much more but I decided to share this piece because we are almost announcing the project. We’ll announce it at the SDCC 2009 and reveal the american publisher that will put this insane stuff on stores! It’s TOP SECRET!
Este é o primeiro design de personagem que eu criei para a FURRY WATER, meu próximo projeto. Eu fiz esse desenho em Janeiro de 2008. Tenho trampado nisso há algum tempo, tive a idéia dessa história em Novembro de 2006, quando ainda trabalhava num estúdio de motion graphics aqui em São Paulo. Desde lá, venho trabalhando na idéia e em 2007 convidei o Daniel Pellizzari para criar e co-roteirizar esta saga comigo. Não vejo a hora de lançar o primeiro capítulo.
Resolvi mostrar esse primeiro concept porque já estamos muito perto de anunciar o projeto. Vamos anunciar na San Diego Comic Con 2009 e também vamos revelar a editora estadunidense que vai colocar essa insanidade nas prateleiras! Por enquanto é TOP SECRET!

Será uma série, publicada em 6 capítulos mensais, depois haverá uma compilação.
O lançamento será apenas em 2010. Estou preparando um material bacana para a anunciação na SDCC. Posters em A2 em silk screen com 5 ou 6 cores!

Your art is amazing! I need to get a copy of Mesmo Delivery! It’s out of print at Amazon and at AdHouse! Is there anywhere that I can still order it from? I think I NEED this book.
